Mentorship, in my view, is the most desirable training that enhances professional training and development. It injects new skills in professional and other personal dimensions. Mentors are influential and professional, they have rather good personal attributes, a right attitude, and can help with psychological growth. Certainly, holistic specialist is the most needed in the current competitive professional development (Garvey, Stokes, Megginson, 2009). Mentors and coaches certainly play a significant role in promoting knowledge, skills acquisition, and guiding the junior professionals through the step-by-step learning. Mentors are good at promoting long-term relations, and their multi-faceted approach makes them first-class specialists. Except the professionalism, training should focus on ensuring that the trainees have the right attitude, develop a core competence and achieve desired objectives.
